"The best part of my work is that every day brings new successes. I love carrying out analyses, solving problems and learning new things. I enjoy meeting with old and new clients and getting to know their inventions and businesses. It's especially rewarding to be able to help them reach their own goals."

Christoffer joined Laine in 1982, and he works as European Patent Attorney on the chemistry team. During his distinguished career, he has carried out all types of IPR work, from making inventions, drafting applications and responses, and prosecuting patent applications all over the world, to drafting objections and oppositions, patent litigation, as well as FTO and IPR clearance declarations.

Christoffer lectures regularly at courses and events by Aalto PRO, Aalto University and the IPR University Center institute. As an invited lecturer, he has given presentations in all Scandinavian countries, Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the US.

Christoffer acts as an advisor for many small and medium-sized enterprises and helps them with e.g. planning and executing IPR strategies to promote the competitiveness of their business.

Christoffer holds a MSc (Engineering) degree in chemical engineering.
