Matthew joined Laine IP in 2013. He heads the company’s US team, where his responsibilities include consulting clients and colleagues in matters related to US patents.
Previously, Matthew worked for seven years as an engineer in the power industry, so he has extensive work experience in planning and analyzing electrical transmission and distribution systems, including long-term economic analysis and market design.
Matthew holds a MSc (Electrical Engineering) degree from Lappeenranta Technical University as well as a BS (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) degree from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
